Present Centenary at 1501 Rivermont Avenue

1. Present Centenary at 1501 Rivermont Avenue, designed by Stanhope Johnson and built by W. K. Barger in 1922-26 for the Rivermont Avenue Methodist, to meet the need for a larger church. Old Centenary and Rivermont merged in July 1930, and the first joint session was held October 30th. The portico is Roman Corinthian and the interior has many fine details of St. Martin in the Fields of London.
